Rajashree S.M. Memorial Senior Secondary School was established in 1995 and is run by S.M. Memorial Trust formed under the Trust Registration Act on 15 th March,1995.
While teaching at Hong Kong and close to retiring and returning to her native state of Kerala, Smt. Lakshmi Bhasi felt the need to set up an institution in memory of her parents, Sri. Sankunny Panicker and Smt.Madhavi Amma. Her philosophy was and remains that it was only because of their support and encouragement, that she was able to achieve what she had achieved, and in return, she wanted them to be remembered for eternity and what better way could this be possible than setting up an educational institution in their memory.rtar do not an institution make.

The values that Rajashree tries to instill in all its students, right from LKG to the upper section of the school, are unique as they are varied. Commencing right from the LKG stage, pupils are exposed to a variety of educative experiences, which include but are not limited to, singing of patriotic songs, nursery rhymes and meaningful recitations that convey a character building ideology
