Staff
Life is full of challenges and challenges are full of opportunities to learn…. We need to equip ourselves to face the challenges and always welcome the chances to learn new things in life in order to grow and prosper.
Even though the Pandemic scenario was quite alarming, teaching and learning has become quite explorative than before for the children as well as teachers.
Teaching through online platform was made very interesting using e-learning resources. Notes were shared through whatsapp or Google classroom.
Teaching profession though a noble one is highly demanding. Constant orientation and perspective building helps teachers to take up ownership and perform to their fullest potential.
The school year started with an orientation programme for the teachers in the month of May. The empowering workshop was adequate to kick start the new academic year. The teachers were reminded of being energetic, compassionate and resourceful.
We are preparing our children to live in the future. Let us be more futuristic and hold hands in equipping our children in their forward journey.
Empowerment programmes for the principal and teachers are designed and executed with a focus on developing competency in various areas including Technology Blended Learning, leadership capacities, Stress Management, Classroom Management, Effective utilization of digital resources, Effective Communication skills, and excellence in dealing with the needs of the learners and society.
Our staff members regularly attend Capacity Building Programmes organized by CBSE and also by the Sahodaya Schools Complex Kochi.
Parent Teacher Interaction
Online Parent Teacher meetings were conducted class wise through the Zoom platform at regular intervals. The parents were given awareness about the importance of parental supervision during classes especially when examinations are conducted online. Apart from the uncontrolled use of internet, parents raised lesser doubts, as children were attending online classes for the whole year.
The parents and teachers were urged to develop an emotional bondage with children in order to promote creativity and enable judicious use of the online platform. To avoid misuse of the internet facility by children, parents were advised to block unnecessary sites in the device handled by children. May God give wisdom and courage to all the parents and teachers to tide over this period with ease.
CBSE Updates in Assessment & Examinations
Special emphasis was given in training students of class X and XII on latest assessment methods and updated syllabi. Thorough revision was given and four Model examinations were
conducted both online and offline along with necessary counselling to enable the children to appear for Board examination confidently.
Programmes at Rajashree
Programmes are conducted separately in primary and secondary sections. Virtual celebrations were conducted to engage the students in maximum possible ways. World Environment Day was observed in a splendid manner. The Green Brigade Initiative which was introduced in school enables them to continue segregation and proper disposal of plastic.
Teachers interacted with children and spoke about the necessity of safeguarding the environment. Other virtual celebrations include Onam, Teachers’ Day, Gandhi Jayanthi and Christmas. Along
with knowing more about the heritage and importance of festivals, they also acquire video making, mixing and editing skills.
Teachers Day
Teachers Day programme was celebrated elegantly by class XII students. It was a virtual treat for the teachers.
Physical Education
Online Physical Education sessions were conducted regularly. Even though small children were enthusiastic, seniors showed less interest.
SEWA
Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action is a strand of Health and Physical Education. The main objective of SEWA is to direct children’s mind in constructive activities with
positive outcomes to develop self- confidence and self-esteem. Children are urged to engage in physical exercises regularly through the virtual classes conducted for them. The Work Education activities include creating Art from waste, Jewelry making and making decorative wall hangings. Art is also integrated with subjects which has elicited the creativity of students and teachers.
Co-curricular Activities

Children missed educational trips and tours which enrich the school programmes but also fill young minds with memories to cherish. The pandemic forced everyone to stay away from such
trips.
Book Fair
Reading activity was conducted online on Vayana Dinam in memory of the renowned writer Shri P N Panicker. Online library sessions were also conducted to promote reading in children.
Celebrations
To give the children a good exposure to our cultural heritage, we celebrate all festivals –religious, social, national and international.
